I'm often asked, "Stella, what is your secret to the work-life balance thing?"

I don't think I am always "balanced." But I do love my work and my life and make those flow together.

For example, today, after delivering a webinar to 1,800 folks, I had to end work early to pick up my daughter because of a stomach bug (she's feeling fine but I've got a lot of dirty, stinky laundry to deal with).

It's about 9:30pm and I'm finally wrapping up this newsletter.

Speaking of laundry, that's one of the things I normally don't do (except on days like today) - to maintain my sanity.

If you're interested in my personal insight/experience on how I keep up with it all (or don't), watch this video here.

You'll learn:

  • The three-minute bedtime ritual that helps me feel a sense of progress and peace of mind at the end of the day
  • How I prioritize the neverending to-do list without feeling too guilty about what's not done
  • How I finally stopped doing the laundry (most of the time) and overcame the shame of asking for it to be done, folded, and put away for me

On a similar note, last Wednesday's Work Happier Weekly was about How to Prevent Burnout, if you didn't catch it live, you can watch that here.

So here's to you and your unique combo of how you keep it together. You're doing great, by the way. We all are doing our best.

With love,
Stella
